Terms of Use

The terms that apply to everyone who visits ebrics.eurabeltfuels.com or uses any Registry service, including registration, verification, document seals and the Legal Centre.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the EBRICS Registry website at https://ebrics.eurabeltfuels.com and its services (together, the "Registry"), operated by Eurabelt Fuels Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under number 16639303, registered office Flat 11 Clothier House, Kinveachy Gardens, London SE7 8EF, United Kingdom.

By using the Registry you accept these terms. If you use the Registry on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it. The following documents also apply where relevant and take precedence over these terms for their subject matter:

  • Code Holder Terms — for entities that apply for or hold an EBRICS code;
  • Counterparty Verification Terms — for anyone who verifies a code under an ATV;
  • Institutional API Terms — for API key holders;
  • Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Notice — for everyone.

2. The Registry's role

The Registry verifies and codifies the identity, mandate and standing of fuel-industry participants and lets counterparties confirm that information with the holder's consent. We are not a party to, and do not arrange, negotiate, guarantee or supervise, any transaction between users. Principals make their own commercial decisions using their own teams and advisers.

3. Who may use the Registry

The Registry is intended for businesses, state entities and professionals in the energy sector. You must be at least 18 and must not be a person, or act for a person, with whom dealings are prohibited under applicable sanctions law.

4. Your obligations

You must:

  • provide accurate information and keep it current;
  • keep codes, ATV references, confirmation links, passwords and API keys confidential;
  • use the Registry only for lawful purposes and in line with the Acceptable Use Policy;
  • verify the Registry's address before entering any code. The only genuine Registry is https://ebrics.eurabeltfuels.com.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the Registry available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend services for maintenance, security or legal reasons. Verification results reflect the Reserve Ledger at the time of the query.

6. Intellectual property

The Registry, its software, design, the EBRICS name and seal marks, and all policy texts belong to Eurabelt Fuels Ltd or its licensors. You may print or save verification records and policies for your own records. Use of the EBRICS name and marks is governed by the Brand & Seal Use policy.

7. Liability

Our liability is limited as set out in the Disclaimer & Liability policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Suspension of access

We may suspend or end your access, without notice where necessary, if you breach these terms, if we suspect fraud or misuse, or if the law requires it.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version and its effective date are always published in the Legal Centre. Material changes take effect no sooner than 30 days after publication, except where a change is required by law or to protect the Registry's security.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek urgent injunctive relief in any competent court. Mandatory rights under the law of your own jurisdiction are not affected.

EBRICS is a verification and compliance registry. It is not a party to any transaction between its users and does not act as broker, agent or guarantor. Principals make their own decisions through their own teams. A tier or Reserve List designation is not a credit rating or an endorsement. A document without a valid EBRICS code is not recognised by the Registry.
